05/21/09: Robbie and Tyler are also in a band called Uninhabitable Mansions. Annie Hart from Au Revoir Simone is also in the band, as are Chris Diken and Danny Comer.

They will be playing a concert at Union Pool in Brooklyn on Memorial Day (May 25, 2009) to raise $$ for Desert Island's forthcoming free all-comics newspaper. The paper will be called SMOKE SIGNAL. Other bands on the bill include Darlings, Boogie Boarder and Ambergris

04/02/09: Alec will be performing in the songwriter series, Writers in the Raw, in an acoustic performance on May 1st at 8:00 PM. It's at the Count Basie Theatre (Red Bank, NJ), in an "in the round" format with: David Johansen (New York Dolls), Rhett Miller (Old 97's) and Ashton Shepherd (Academy of Country Music nominated Best New Artist).

"Writers in the Raw is an intimate encounter with four singer/songwriters, each from different genres and career points, trading songs and stories in an informal evening, inspiring and playing off each other."

03/03/09: Tomorrow night we will play on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. We are going to play a new song, which is called "Statues." It's a song that we might work on some more in the future. After we play it we will put a demo of it up on our website so that you can download it. The show airs at 12:30 AM Eastern Time. Come back here after to listen to a recorded version of "Statues."

02/20/09: We will be the musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, March 4th. The show airs at 12:30AM EST.

12/06/08: On February 13th we will be performing at the Brooklyn Academy of Music as part of the Sounds Like Brooklyn Music Festival. We will play in the Howard Gilman Opera House with the band Chairlift. Tickets are available on December 5th for Friends of BAM, and December 12th for the general public. Go here to get tickets.

09/04/08: We have some shows coming up in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, DC and Baltimore. Greasing up the van, polishing the shoes, stretching the calves. If you're in the area come by and see us. If not, we'll be out soon for a bigger journey.

08/01/08: Tyler and Lee recently collaborated on a soundtrack spearheaded by their friend James Lavino along with Colin Greenwood of Radiohead across The Atlantic Puddle. The film is called Woodpecker. "...a tragic comedy about hope, perception, and some very very strange birds." And there you have it.

The soundtrack is now available on iTunes here. The film is doing the festival thing at the moment, hanging out at festivals with other films. Have a listen if you get a chance.
